The October meeting of the Genealogy Club takes place this Thursday, 20th October at 7 pm in Portlaoise Library. This months meeting will feature an informative talk on using the Irish census records for family research.
The Genealogy Club is a friendly group of people who share an interest in family history. We meet once a month to share information and learn from one another. New members benefit from the knowledge and assistance of the experienced members, who provide information sessions and practical instruction on doing family research. The meetings are free and open to the public and beginners are welcome every month.
