The Laois Heritage Society would like to welcome all interested parties to attend it’s 2025 AGM on Thursday 30th January at 8pm in the Midlands Park Hotel.
The society would especially like to welcome new members with an interest in Laois heritage, history, folklore, culture and archaeology. The society hosts a number of public lectures annually, supports the Old Fort Quarter Festival, and is involved in a number of projects locally to support and conserve our local heritage.
Whether you are a Laois person who wants to know more about the county’s rich heritage or new to Laois and interested in the history of your new home, come along and meet like minded people. Membership annually is €20 or €30 for family membership.
