The Laois County Council Photographic Collection contains hundreds of images captured as part of the council’s administration of County Laois. The collection ranges from utility photographs, documenting and supporting the council’s work, to formal portraits of counsellors and community groups celebrating local achievements.
This collection provides an important record of the infrastructural changes that have taken place in the county, especially in the recent decades.
